Find out what the 1 Day Sprint is about and what to expect on November 12.
How the day works
Each sprint has a theme built around real problems people face across Africa. The theme is split into five sub-categories, and each team draws one out of a hat at the start of the day.
Nobody knows their problem until they pick it, so every team starts from zero: understand the problem, brainstorm a solution, then build it before the day ends. There's no judging this round, just teams sharing their ideas and how they approached their problem.
