About the Hackathon
The Xalkadoon Hackathon brings together the brightest minds in tech from across Somaliland. Since 2024, we've been challenging developers, designers, and entrepreneurs to build innovative solutions to local problems.
Over a 48-hour period, teams collaborate to develop prototypes that address challenges in healthcare, education, finance, and agriculture. The event provides a platform for participants to showcase their skills, network with industry leaders, and win prizes to help turn their ideas into reality.
